Annual Stewardship Day
January 25, 2019, 9:30am - 3:00pm
Location: Viles Arboretum, 153 Hospital Street, Augusta
Cost: FREE but you must register
SNOW DATE: Friday, February 1st, 2019
This event is free and open to any and all who help steward our conserved lands here in Maine. The agenda for the day will be set by participants. If anyone is interested in exploring a particular topic, please send an email and let us know what you’re interested in. We’ll try to find someone who can speak to that issue. If anyone is interested in presenting to your peers on a topic, please share that as well. In the past we have had a mix of presentations, break-out group discussion, full group discussion, and time for socializing and informal networking. This is YOUR DAY, so if you have other ideas to make the time worthwhile, speak up! We’d love to hear from you.
We’ll provide coffee, breakfast pastries, and pizza for lunch. Weather and snow pack allowing, we’ll also have an outdoor activity such as skiing or snowshoeing on the trails there at Viles. They even have skis or snowshoes you can use if you need to borrow some!
To RSVP, email Donna or call 207-607-4577.
