Writing Successful Conservation Grants

- Cost: $20 for MEACC and MLTN members, $30 for non-members
- Co-sponsored by the Maine Association of Conservation Commission and the Maine Land Trust Network
This workshop is designed to improve your chances of successfully obtaining funding from three major conservation grant programs in Maine. The Maine Natural Resources Conservation Program provides funding for wetlands restoration, enhancement and preservation. The Recreational Trails Program provides funding for trail building projects, including design, materials and labor. Project Canopy from the Maine Forest Service provides funds for both forest management and shade tree planting.
Information on Land for Maine's Future grants and various private foundation grant sources will be presented.
