Mission Statement
To conserve and steward the natural resources and traditional character of the Georges River watershed regionĀ for the public benefit.
Region
GRLT serves the Georges River watershed region from Frye Mountain in Montville to Muscongus Bay off Port Clyde and Cushing, including the coastal zone between Port Clyde and Rockland.

- Creator and steward of a Conservation Trails System which includes driving, biking and hiking trails throughout the watershed. Most notably, the Georges Highland Path offers 40 miles of low impact hiking trails for the public between Frye Mountain and Thomaston. Maps available upon request.
- Educational Walks & Talks offered throughout the year, typically 2 times a month.
- Sponsor of the annual Gardens in the Watershed Tour in July.
