• Host public Awareness Days, conservation work days, outings and day trips for members and the public to areas worthy of protection
• Bring in speakers on topics of interest to landowners (Farm and Open Space Tax Laws, property tax assessment)
• Operate community gardens on one of our conservation properties
• Participating with 21 other local organizations in the Watershed Conservation Project for planning and supporting conservation efforts in Southern Maine
• Participating in the Mount Agamenticus to the Sea Conservation Initiative to protect resources in a 48,000 acre region with 9 other organizations
• Works with other land trust to coordinate farmland protection and assist farmers with marketing to local consumers
• 100% of our conservation land (both easement and fee) is open to public access with 70% guaranteed in written agreements
