Mission Statement

Midcoast Conservancy protects and promotes healthy lands, waters, and communities through conservation, outdoor adventure, and learning.


Our focus area stretches 21 towns from Montville to Newcastle to Westport Island, and includes the Damariscotta Lake watershed and the Sheepscot River watershed, along with their many tributaries.
