2024 Maine Land Conservation Conference
Fri., Apr. 12 - Sat., Apr. 13, at 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, at Mt Ararat Middle School and Orion Performing Arts Center
Each year, Maine Coast Heritage Trust presents the Maine Land Conservation Conference for and with Maine’s land conservation community. We come together to train on best practices in all aspects of land trust work, connect with our peers, and grapple with the most pressing issues facing land conservation today.
In 2024, we will be returning to our traditional 2-day in-person format. Friday, April 12, will take place at various locations and include some in-depth learning opportunities, field trips, and an evening gathering. Saturday, April 13, will take place at the Mt. Ararat Middle School and Orion Performing Arts Center in Topsham from approximately 8am-4pm.
We are currently accepting proposals for 90-minute workshops for our in-person conference in Topsham on Saturday, April 13th, 2024. We have a strong preference for workshops that share the stories of Maine groups and provide lessons learned to our conservation community. This could include conservation successes, DEI efforts, something new or different in stewardship, nonprofit leadership, exceptional partnerships, and more. To submit a proposal for the 2024 event, click here. Proposal are due Wednesday, November 29th.
Registration for the 2024 Conference will open around the first of March.
