Upper Saco Valley Land Trust (USVLT) seeks a dynamic, knowledgeable, and energetic new Land Steward. This key position involves monitoring preserves, developing and implementing preservation management plans, performing ongoing property maintenance, and serving as lead database manager for USVLT’s conservation project database. The Land Steward works both independently and collaboratively with others on the USVLT team, as well as overseeing the land steward volunteers. They are instrumental to fulfilling USVLT’s mission, conservation goals, and efforts. The position is full-time, year-round, salaried, and requires a balance of technical skills, conservation experience, ability to work well with others, as well as comfort working in outdoor environments.


USVLT conserves lands for farming, forestry, public recreation, scenic enjoyment and wildlife habitat in the 11 towns of Albany, Bartlett, Chatham, Conway, Eaton, Hart’s Location, Jackson, and Madison, New Hampshire, and Brownfield, Denmark, and Fryeburg, Maine.
