Reports to: Membership and Development Manager (MDM)

Mission: Caring for the lands and waters of the Damariscotta-Pemaquid Region by conserving special places, protecting water quality, creating trails and public access, and deepening connections to nature.

Position Summary: The Membership and Database Coordinator assists with all aspects of donation processing and database management, including reporting and mailing lists. The goal of these activities is to promote Coastal Rivers’ mission while broadening and deepening support for conservation of the Damariscotta-Pemaquid region.

Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days, with minimum 4 days on site at office

Compensation: $36,000 to $42,000, DOE.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Database and Donation Processing
Majority of time is spent processing, organizing, and maintaining donor data
● Assist with processing of all donations, including receiving, scanning, organizing, and
depositing donations
● Enter donation data in Salsa CRM (database)
● Acknowledge donations through issuing receipts and cards
● Prepare reports and queries (including mailing lists) in database
● Assist on-site at events, and preparing for events with donor lists and materials
● Respond to donor inquiries
● Strive to maintain personal relationship with donors
● Other Collaborates with MDM on the database’s organization to ensure quality, security, and
consistency
● Other duties as assigned

Requirements
● Some college or associate’s degree
● Strong writing and communication skills
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
● Minimum 3 years experience coordinating donor database or CRM
● Meticulous attention to detail and organization
● Strong time management skills
● Ability to self-manage work
● Ability to work on site at office in Damariscotta
● Current on all vaccinations (including Covid) and willing to follow office health and safety
procedures as needed
● Enjoys working with data, doing research, solving puzzles, and working independently
● Enjoys collaboration, is flexibly minded, and excited to learn
