This role involves gaining familiarity with NRCS policies and guidance regarding conservation easement program implementation.

The Project Manager/Easement Specialist will be employed and supervised by MFT staff as a member of MFT’s Farmland Protection team, while working closely and learning from NRCS staff. This full-time position can be based out of Maine Farmland Trust’s Portland or Belfast office, or can be remote but must remain based in Maine. The position will also be expected to work out of the NRCS Bangor office to some extent.
