Key Facts
- 2006 was our organizational year and we received notification of our 501 (c) 3 status on May 31, 2007. That year we acquired 3 parcels of land totaling 75 acres. We acquired an additional 55+ acres on 3/27/08 and about 32 acres in March 2009. In 2011 we received a gift of 3 parcels totaling almost 26 acres from the City of Biddeford. That same year we completed a land swap and a donation of an additional 11 acres. To date we have almost 200 acres forever preserved and “permission to use” agreements with 5 neighbors so that we can join our 5 miles of well marked trails for everyone’s outdoor enjoyment. PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A DONATION, VOLUNTEER OR OFFER SUGGESTIONS! All contributions to BPWS are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
