2019 Maine Land Trust Census Report Now Available
A report summarizing results of the 2019 Maine Land Trust Census, which we conducted in January of this year, has now been released and now available here. The results are interesting and they will be useful in myriad ways. Huge thanks to Stephen Shennan and Gary Stern of Stern Consulting International, who helped every step of the way on the project.
One of the most noteworthy things about this census is that it was done with an eye towards allowing us to trend certain data points in a way we never have before. Gary Stern will help us with some analysis and comparisons between the 2018 and 2015 data, and we’ll be sharing these findings with all of you at our regional meetings in the fall. Stay tuned for more on that.
Thanks again to each and every one who took time to fill out the census. Collectively, you have once again proven what a strong land trust community we have here in Maine!
