Downeast Regional Land Trust Meeting

Wed., Oct. 9, at 9:30 am - 11:30 am, at Reynolds Center Conference Room, UMaine Machias

To RSVP, email and be sure to include which region/date you want to attend.

Maine Land Trust Network convenes these meetings throughout the state each fall to bring land trust staff, board members, and volunteers together. It’s a chance for land trusts to discuss issues of common interest in their specific area. If you have ideas for discussion topics, please send them our way! Some topics we hope to cover this year include the effort underway to develop an outdoor economy roadmap, MLTN regrant opportunities, the new Conserved Lands Submission Tool, public policy and Land for Maine’s Future.

To view dates for all Regional Meetings around of the state, check out our events page. We typically hold meetings in the Downeast, Penobscot Bay, Western & Inland, Midcoast, Greater Portland, and Southern Maine regions. We loosely consider the Downeast region to include Washington and Hancock Counties, extending from the Canadian border west to about Ellsworth. Attendees can select for themselves which meeting to attend. Some discussions will be similar at all the meetings, while some topics will likely be unique to the region.

Please note: we prioritize in-person attendance at these meetings, but when possible and practical, we may arrange for a Zoom connection.
