Dates Set for Fall Regional Meetings

Each fall, the Maine Land Trust Network organizes regional land trust meetings around the state. These meetings are a chance for land trust staff, board members, volunteers, and members of the public to gather together and discuss issues of common interest. These are some of our favorite events of the year because they are casual gatherings where the discussion is free flowing and we can all connect and hear from each other.

This year we are going to handle regional land trust meetings just a little differently. We’ve picked meeting dates for the six regions well in advance. We hope you’ll put the date(s) for the meeting(s) you think you may want to attend on your calendar and save the dates. We will finalize exact times and announce locations as they are set, but hopefully knowing the dates ahead will give you plenty of time to plan ahead so you can join us.

  • Wednesday, October 2 – Greater Portland Region
  • Wednesday, October 9 – Downeast Region
  • Thursday, October 17 – Penobscot Bay Region
  • Wednesday, October 30 – Western & Inland Region
  • Wednesday, November 6 – Midcoast Region
  • Tuesday, November 19 – Southern Maine Region
Participants can self-select which meeting to attend, and if you have a conflict on the date we’ve chosen for your region, you are more than welcome to attend one of the other meetings. Some discussion topics will be repeated in each region, while some time will be allocated to region-specific discussion. Learn more on the MLTN Events page
