Enock and Zach Gain National Attention
Enock Glidden and Zach Stegeman, who gave an awesome presentation as the keynote speakers at the 2022 Maine Land Conservation Conference, are now receiving national attention for the work they do making the outdoors more accessible for people of all abilities. They were on Maine Calling back in August, along with Chrissy Beardsley Allen of Blue Hill Heritage Trust, and earlier this month the PBS News Hour picked up the story. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out here!
We are also pumped and getting ready for the MLTN Accessibility Workshop next Wednesday at the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center in Brunswick. Enock, Zach, and Chrissy will be there, along with Peter Doehring, a co-author with Chrissy on the Open to All: A disability inclusion guide for land trusts and about a dozen other great presenters. It’s going to be a special day!
