Come spend a day considering and practicing the craft of translating our experiences in nature into stories we can share throughout so many aspects of our lives.

Whether you work or volunteer in environmental sustainability, conservation, or outdoor recreation or you are a nature lover wanting to delve into how you express the meaning you find in the natural world, this workshop and paddle is for you.

Presenters Leigh Tillman and Zack Anchors will lead the paddle from Harpswell to Whaleboat Island. Throughout the trip each participant will shape a personal story. You’ll also explore storytelling techniques, and practice together how each one uniquely crafts a story. Of course, you’ll also get to spend time paddling and enjoying the beauty of the Maine coast throughout the entire day.

Leigh and Zack are offering this workshop because they care about the natural world and about the sharing of life through story. Join them on this adventure to explore nature, storytelling, and the intersection of the two.
