In September 2019, the Land Trust Alliance (LTA) and the Open Space Institute (OSI) surveyed land trusts in northern New England to assess current levels of climate change engagement. They asked: “What resources do you need to increase climate work?”
The results are in — 54 land trusts in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont responded. Above all else, funding was identified as the most needed resource.
