Stipend Available for Hybrid Course on Valuation of Conservation Easements & Partial Interests
Maine Coast Heritage Trust continues to work with partners to increase the availability of qualified conservation appraisers in Maine. Our key collaborator in this work is the Land Trust Alliance, which has has recently gotten together with American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) to offer a $500 course stipend for appraisers that are licensed in New England and are interested in learning more about the appraisal opportunities available in the conservation sector. Course: Valuation of Conservation Easements and Other Partial Interests in Real Estate

Contact Hours: 22 hours + 2-hour exam
Course Timetable: Day 1-3: 10 am – 7pm EST / 8 am – 5 pm MT
Accreditation: This course is required for the ARA and RPRA.

$500 Stipend Opportunity
The Land Trust Alliance is proud to partner with the ASFMRA to provide a $500 stipend for Appraisers licensed to work in New England who are interested in conducting appraisals for land conservation projects. This $500 stipend will be applied as a discount on their registration fee.

Following the approval of a stipend, the AFSMRA will reach out with registration information.
