• Have extensive environmental education outreach, including regular dialogue with local school that results in grants and programs
• Provide a summer program “Island Explorations” and conduct water quality monitoring
• Assist town in planning, wetlands mapping, scenic inventories, groundwater protection and endangered plant inventories
• Advocate for Penobscot Bay Region environment through work with PBLTA, Penobscot Bay Network, Waldo County Economic Development Committee, Penobscot Bay Stewards Advisory Committee, Penobscot Watershed Conference, etc.
