Key Facts

• We continue to work on our major trail developments, including:
• The Back Cove/Eastern Promenade Connector linking two of Portland’s most popular trails
• The Stroudwater Trail, a lovely wooded walk along an important wildlife corridor
• The Fore River Trail, developed from funding provided by the Julie N. oil spill
• The Lyseth/Pine Grove Trail, developed with funding from Northern Utilities
• The Presumpscot Riverwalk now under construction
• In addition, our expanding education and outreach program continues to bring conservation and stewardship issues to a broader audience, and to the next generation
