Is there a discount for MLTN members?

This year there will be just one price for registration – $75. We are making this change in the interest of simplicity, and because we want non-land trust people to feel equally welcome at the event. We offer scholarships to students with a Maine connection whose studies include an environmental, nonprofit management, or sustainability focus. If you wish to attend the conference but find the registration fee out of reach, please contact Donna (). We will make every effort to work with you so that you can attend.

Where can I stay while I’m in town for the conference?

We have arranged for discounted rooms at three Brunswick establishments. See the link for Lodging on the Conference web page:

Can I pay for my registration with a check?

Yes, we are happy to take payment by check until April 1st. Checks should be made out and mailed to: MCHT, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 201, Topsham, ME 04086. After 4/1, payment must be made by credit card. Call us at 207-729-7366 to provide payment by credit card over the phone.

If space allows us to accept registrations at the door, we will accept cash, credit cards, and checks.

How do I sign up to exhibit at the Land Fair?

For more information about exhibiting at our Land Fair, contact Marj Whitman at . Cost is $150 for land trusts and nonprofit organizations, or $200 for businesses.

My plans have changed unexpectedly. Can I cancel and get a refund?

You may cancel your registration and receive a refund until April 1st. After that, we have made commitments to our vendors and we’re not able to offer a refund. Thank you for your understanding.

Will Friday Field Courses take place in the event of inclement weather?

We expect outdoor field courses on Friday to take place rain or shine, but if the weather turns extreme we will contact registrants by email to alert them to any change of plans.
