2021 Maine Land Conservation Conference Archive

Thanks for helping us make the 2018 virtual event a success! Here is an archive for your reference.

Over 350 of you registered to participate in this year’s Conference. We are so grateful that you all took a leap and joined us for this new format. Please let us know what you thought worked well, and maybe what didn’t, by filling out your Evaluation Survey, which we sent to you by email on Wednesday, April 28th. Didn’t receive the email? Contact us at . We can send the survey again or you can share your thoughts right in the email, whichever works for you.

The webinar recordings will be available to registrants until July 1st.

A variety of presentations and meetings will comprise this year’s event, but they won’t be taking place over two days. Instead, presentations will take place Tuesday through Friday over several weeks. Presentations will be recorded and available to all who register.

The cost for this year’s conference will be $25, which includes access to all sessions.

Our presentations will be organized around four main topics:

  • Climate Resilience
  • Indigenous Engagement
  • Nature-Based Education
  • Responding to Increased Preserve Use

There will be a few extras, too, like our Welcome Spring Concert with musician Ben Cosgrove, and a keynote address by Land Trust Alliance President Andrew Bowman. Sessions will be scheduled during the following weeks: March 15–19,  March 29–April 2, April 12–16, and April 26–30. No presentations will be scheduled during the weeks in between.

Click on the links below “Learn More” in the right column above to view the schedules for each week, and check back regularly for updates. You can also sign up for our Infoline e-newsletter to be sure to get announcements about this year’s conference.

We are proud to offer scholarships to the Conference. Contact Donna to learn more.
