Service Area
The mission of the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust is to sustain the long-term ecological, economic, and social vitality of the Rangeley region by conserving, restoring, and stewarding it’s lands and waters for present and future generations.
RLHT conserves land, restores habitats, builds trails, and offers programs that connect our community to nature to make it happier and healthier.
Since 1991, we have worked to conserve land that is critical to the protection of our waters, which provides recreational opportunities year-round and conserves access to Rangeley’s world-renowned outdoors. We work within the Rangeley Lakes Region and are proud to partner with local municipalities, state governments, non-profit organizations, landowners, and groups within our community to protect our environment and preserve public access to recreational opportunities.
