2025 Conference FAQs

What is the cost for the 2025 Conference? The costs for the Maine Land Conservation Conference are as follows:

  • $35 for Tuesday daytime, includes box lunch
  • $25 for Tuesday evening, includes taco bar; there will be a cash bar
  • $100 for Wednesday and includes breakfast, lunch and snacks, and access to all presentations and meetings
  • If you would like to exhibit at our Land Fair, there is an additional cost: $100 for nonprofits and state agencies; $200 for businesses

Scholarships are available if the cost is an obstacle for you to attend. See FAQ on scholarships below. 

Will the 2025 Conference be recorded? We do not plan to record any of the workshops or sessions this year.

I can’t find my confirmation email. What should I do? If you have a Google email account (Gmail), please check the Promotions tab and your spam folder. Otherwise, email us and we can try resending your confirmation. 

How do I apply for a scholarship? We want our conference to be accessible to all. Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, MCHT is proud to offer scholarships to cover registration. If you would like to attend the conference but cost is an obstacle, contact Donna at with the subject line: Conference Scholarship inquiry, or call 207-607-4577.

Can I pay for my registration with a check? Yes, we are happy to take payment by check until April 23rd. Checks should be made out to MCHT with “conference” written on the memo line, and mailed to: MCHT, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 201, Topsham, ME 04086. Call us at 207-729-7366 to provide payment by credit card over the phone. After 4/23, you must pay with a credit card.

My plans have changed unexpectedly. Can I cancel and get a refund? You may cancel your registration and receive a refund until April 23rd. After that, we’re not able to offer a refund. Thank you for understanding.

I have accessibility concerns. What should I do? The Augusta Civic Center has handicapped parking, entrances, and an elevator to the second floor. If you have other needs, please contact us at . We will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.
